We discovered Bride and Groom Guatemala by a simple Google search, and we struck gold with Silke! We are a couple from the US who visit Antigua often and we wanted to celebrate our wedding there. We already knew the wedding date and venue, but we certainly needed a wedding planner to assist with coordinating literally everything else. 

 She provided us many good recommendations regarding minute details we didn’t even think about! Like many of us, COVID changed our plans drastically and we made the decision to postpone the wedding a whole year. Without missing a beat, Silke was very patient, attentive, and quick to respond. She was able to contact all of our vendors and made arrangements, obtained new contracts, and was successful to ensure we’d have a Halloween wedding once again. Silke helped us with the organization of the whole 3-day wedding weekend. She organized the welcome cocktails for our guests, a brunch the next day with COVID testing available, and coordinated making “wedding welcome bags”. Lastly, Silke went above and beyond with helping us plan transport for all of our guests to and from the airport. This was such a difficult task, but she was very organized, sent us updates on travel groups, and provided reasonable pricing. She was even in contact with the guests privately to ensure a driver was there to pick them up, even if flights were delayed! Silke truly was an amazing planner and our wedding wouldn’t have been as perfect as it was without her. We absolutely loved working with Silke for our wedding! She was extremely organized and always in complete control.
